Zine reviews! Hell yeah!
I love zines. I love the DIY ethos, the physicality, the small-scale, the reciprocity and generosity on display whenever zine-makers gather. I love all of it! This is my little corner to celebrate zine culture.
While zine-making itself is flourishing, zine reviewing and criticism is harder to find. There are a few folks like Dayna of catmothcrow doing really good work out there. But there are so many cool zines being made every day and not enough people yelling about them! So I’m doing that here. I don’t have any particular editorial approach; I just write about what interests me and whatever comes my way, starting with some of the zines (and minicomics!) already in my collection.
